NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER (EXCEPT RESIDENTS OF ALABAMA AND NEBRASKA WHO MUST BE 19 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER) AT TIME OF ENTRY.

1.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

2.  ELIGIBILITY: Zynga and Best Buy Reward Zone Program Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age and older (except residents of Alabama and Nebraska, who must be 19 years of age or older) at time of entry ("Eligible Participant").  Void in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited.  Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and their respective household members (whether or not related), of Zynga Inc. (“Sponsor”), Strobe Promotions, Inc. (“Administrator”), Best Buy Stores, L.P., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and divisions, advertising, promotion and production agencies, and prize providers are not eligible to enter.  Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes.  The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.  By entering, you understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook.  The information you provide will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at http://www.zynga.com/about/privacy-policy.php and will only be used in connection with the Sweepstakes or to contact you regarding future Sponsor promotions and events. 

   

3. SWEEPSTAKES TIMING/DESCRIPTION: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) January 2, 2011 and ends 11:59:59 PM PT on January 31, 2011 (the "Promotion Period").  One (1) Grand Prize, Two (2) First Prizes, One (1) Second Prize, Ten (10) Third Prizes, Fifty (50) Fourth Prizes, Ten (10) Fifth Prizes, One hundred (100) Sixth Prizes, Two Hundred and five (205) Seventh Prizes and Three hundred (300) Eighth Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.  You may redeem as many Zynga Game Cards as you wish; you will receive one (1) entry per Facebook User ID per redeemed Zynga Game Card.

4. HOW TO ENTER:  There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes:  (1) Online Entry with Zynga Game Card; and (2) Entry via U.S. mail. (1) Online Entry with redemption of Zynga Game Card:  Visit any participating Best Buy store location or BestBuy.com and purchase a Zynga Game Card, while supplies last. The Zynga Game Card will include a PIN Code (the “Code”) on the back of the Game Card.  If you have an existing Zynga account in good standing and have provided an email address, via Facebook permissions, for your Zynga account, you may receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes when you visit www.farmville.com or www.mafiawars.com, connect with Facebook Connect and navigate to the payments area to enter the Code and redeem your Zynga Game Card in FarmVille or Mafia Wars during the Promotion Period. Or, you may receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes when you go to any of the participating Zynga games on Facebook.  The URLs are:  http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm, http://apps.facebook.com/YoVille, http://apps.facebook.com/frontierville, http://apps.facebook.com/inthemafia, http://apps.facebook.com/treasureisle, and http://apps.facebook.com/cafeworld.  Once in the game navigate to the payments area to enter the Code and redeem your Zynga Game Card during the Promotion Period. (If you have not already installed the Zynga game application, you must first click the “Allow” button on the Request for Permission page and follow the online instructions to enter the Code and redeem your Zynga Game Card).  Please Note: Use of the Zynga applications is subject to the Terms of Service available at http://www.zynga.com/about/terms-of-service.php.  Redemption of Zynga Game Cards is subject to the terms and conditions printed on the cards as well as the Zynga Terms of Service.  Each Zynga Game Card may only be redeemed one (1) time for a single Zynga game of your choice. You must insure that a valid email address is associated with your Facebook account and insure that you have given the Zynga games/applications permission to access this email address in order to be eligible to be entered via this method.  You may redeem as many Zynga Game Cards as you wish; you will receive one (1) entry per Facebook User ID per redeemed Zynga Game Card. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM PT on January 31, 2011 in order to be eligible.  Please Note: You must have a valid Facebook account and agree to the Facebook Terms of Service and the Facebook Privacy Policy, located at http://www.facebook.com, in order to be eligible to enter.  Registration on Facebook must be completed before entry can be submitted.   Facebook membership is free.  Entries must be made by the authorized Facebook account holder at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to Facebook ID by Facebook or other organization responsible for assigning Facebook ID.   

 

(2) Entry via U.S. Mail Without Purchase:  You may also enter the Sweepstakes via U.S. Mail, by hand printing your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, date of birth, email address, daytime telephone number and the words “Zynga and Best Buy Reward Zone Program Sweepstakes” on a 3” X 5” card, and mail it, in an envelope with postage affixed, to: Zynga and Best Buy Reward Zone Program Sweepstakes, P. O. Box 923, Plainview, NY  11803-0923. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2011 and received by February 7, 2011 in order to be eligible.  Each mail-in entry counts as one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes drawing. Limit one (1) entry per outer envelope. 

 

Entrants may enter only by using the entry methods described in these rules.  Entries that have been generated by a script, macro, bot or any other automated means will be deemed void.  Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, postage due, late or inaccurate are void.  Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.  Proof of mailing or emailing does not constitute proof of delivery.  Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor’s decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  If a dispute results as to the identity of an online entrant, it will be determined that the online entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the Facebook ID from which the entry is made.  For these purposes, the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to Facebook ID by Facebook or other organization responsible for assigning Facebook ID.  The promotional website’s database clock will be the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.  Your Zynga Game account is not transferable.  Only users playing with a valid account are eligible.  Any user who violates Zynga’s Terms http://www.zynga.com/legal/terms_of_service.php may be declared ineligible.  Multiple Facebook accounts linked to the same entrant will be disqualified.  Under no circumstances shall you allow or permit any other person or third party, including, without limitation, any person under the legal age to participate in the Sweepstakes, or use or re-use your account in such a way that may breach the standards or laws in any jurisdiction where you are located and/or are a resident, or where such other person is located and/or is a resident.  Any person found to have violated this section may be reported to the relevant authorities.

 

5.  DETERMINATION OF WINNERS:  One (1) Grand Prize winner, Two (2) First Prize winners, One (1) Second Prize winner, Ten (10) Third Prize winners, Fifty (50) Fourth Prize winners, Ten (10) Fifth Prize winners, One hundred (100) Sixth Prize winners, Two Hundred and five (205) Seventh Prize winners and Three hundred (300) Eighth Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about February 9, 2011 in Melville, NY from among all eligible online and mail-in entries received.  The random drawings will be conducted by the Administrator, Strobe Promotions, Inc., an independent judging organization.  Judges’/Sponsor’s decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  The potential prize winners will be notified by electronic mail and/or overnight or U.S. mail and/or telephone on or about February 9, 2011, and Grand, First and Second Prize winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and where legal, a publicity release, and a Federal and State tax release, and all other winners will be required to provide their mailing address and return these documents, properly executed, within seven (7) days of issuance of notification.  Non-compliance within this time frame or with the Official Rules, or if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, will result in the entrant being disqualified, and the prize will be awarded to a potential alternate winner.  Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prize.  Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible online and mail-in entries received. Limit one (1) Grand, First or Second Prize per person/Facebook User ID.

ARV: $300/ea.  One hundred (100) Sixth Prizes:  $200 Best Buy Reward Zone program Reward Certificate (10,000 Reward Zone program points).  ARV: $200/ea.  Two Hundred and Five (205) Seventh Prizes:  $100 Best Buy Reward Zone program Reward Certificate (5,000 Reward Zone program points).  ARV: $100/ea. Three Hundred (300) Eighth Prizes: $50 Best Buy Reward Zone program Reward Certificate ($2,500 Reward Zone program points). ARV: $50/ea.  Total ARV of all prizes:  $100,000.  Best Buy Reward Zone program membership and Reward Certificates are subject to Reward Zone program rules. To receive your Best Buy Code for a Reward Certificate, you must provide Sponsor with a valid email address. Best Buy Codes will not be replaced if lost, stolen or expired. The reselling of Best Buy Codes is prohibited. To redeem your Best Buy Code, you must be (or become) a Reward Zone program member, activate your membership on MyRZ.com and provide a valid email address.  Best Buy Codes may be redeemed one time only on MyRZ.com/Claim by July 31, 2011. To receive your Reward Certificate, you must redeem your Best Buy Code on MyRZ.com/Claim, and then follow instructions on MyRZ.com to print your Reward Certificate. Reward Certificates are coupons for discounts off future purchase amounts equal to or greater than the amount of the Reward Certificate, excluding sales tax, at Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com, subject to the terms printed on the Reward Certificate. Reward Certificates are valid in the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia only. Reward Certificates expire ninety (90) days from the date that you print them. 7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements.  Sponsor will collect information from the entrant for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and to notify the winner.  Sponsor’s use of information submitted by entrants in connection with this Sweepstakes will be subject to the terms and conditions stated in these Official Rules as well as to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at http://www.zynga.com/about/privacy-policy.php.  All materials submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, photograph, voice and biographical material and entry submission for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes by Sponsor, or a party designated by Sponsor, in any and all media now or hereafter known including but not limited to, any online announcements, or for sharing this information with the press for viewing, whether TV or print, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.  Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsor, which are final, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules.  Entrants agree that any and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.  Sponsor reserves the right to remove from or to deny entry to the Sweepstakes to any entrant who engages in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive conduct, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person participating or involved with the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right to require the potential prize winner to submit to, and cooperate fully in, a background check to confirm eligibility and to help ensure that the use or involvement in any way of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Sweepstakes will not bring the Sponsor into disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Sweepstakes or the Sponsor, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.  Sponsor reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize, in whole or in part, to any person where that person's background check reveals information that is unacceptable to the Sponsor, in the Sponsor's sole discretion.

Releases are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, damaged, postage-due or misdirected entries or mail.  Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.  Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play, or submission of entries, or should the Sweepstakes be unable to run as planned for any other reason, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken. CAUTION:  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR ANY ONLINE SERVICE RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such term or any other provision.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates the rules or interferes with the Sweepstakes in any manner.  If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes.  Any attempt by an individual to access any website associated with the Sweepstakes via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorized means will result in that individual’s IP address becoming ineligible.  Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.

9. DISPUTES:  Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Eligible Participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California), or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.  You agree that all disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes will be handled in accord with the dispute resolution policy set forth in our Terms http://www.zynga.com/legal/terms_of_service.php. 

 

10. WINNERS’ LIST/OFFICIAL RULES: For the names of the major prize winners, available after March 31, 2011, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope by March 31, 2011 to: Zynga and Best Buy Reward Zone Program Sweepstakes Winners, P. O. Box 997, Plainview, NY 11803-0997. Official Rules will be available at www.bestbuy.com/zynga during the Promotion Period.
